Moving is an exciting, busy time. Did you know that nearly 1000 people move to Florida each day? Florida is an excellent place to live, whether you intend to enjoy the sandy beaches, golf courses, amusement parks or nightlife, there is something here for everyone. But there is a lot to do when you first move.

Before you can start receiving mail in your new home, you must complete a change of address form. You can do this in-person through the U.S. Postal Service, or choose to use their online change of address tool.

Updating Your License

Within 10 days of moving, the state of Florida requires that you update your address. You can change your address on your driver's license or ID online, by mail, or in person.
